Open from May through July, our Garden Center has beautiful, well-tended, locally grown flowers and vegetables.
We purchase from four different, Montana based vendors including Special K Ranch, High Country Growers, Visser Greenhouses, and Garden Avenue Greenhouse so our customers can be confident the plants they buy are acclimated to Montana’s weather.
With four vendors to pull from, we provide a wide variety of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and garden vegetables.
Gayle takes great pride and care to ensure the plants our customers buy are healthy and in good condition. If you have any questions on what flowers to plant where, which fertilizer to use in your garden, or how to prepare your soil for planting, Gayle is here to answer those questions for you. And if there is a particular item you are looking for that we don’t have, Gayle will do what she can to get if for you.
S-Bar-S has more than bedding plants and potting soil, though. We also carry fertilizer, weed killer, insecticides, mulch, and grass seed. For those dry summer months, choose from our large selection of garden hoses, sprayers, hose repair fittings, and Rainbird sprinkler heads and drip irrigation components.
Since the lawn needs more than watering, S-Bar-S carries lawnmowers, weed trimmers, chainsaws, and leaf blowers from popular companies such as Husqvarna, Poulan Pro, Toro and Yard Machine. Also in stock is an assortment of replacement blades, spark plugs, filters, and more replacement parts to keep your equipment running like new. And, of course, we also have a wide selection of wheelbarrows, broadcast spreaders, shovels, rakes, hoes, axes, sledgehammers, and other hand tools.
For the deck and patio, S-Bar-S has patio furniture, outdoor umbrellas & stands, charcoal and gas grills, grilling accessories, smoker wood chips, wood pellets for pellet grills. To help keep things looking pretty, we have a selection of flower pots, garden fountains, outdoor lights, and garden decor.
Whether you are in need of patio blocks, stepping stones, deck blocks or utility blocks, S-Bar-S carries a large selection of concrete blocks to help you complete your outdoor projects. We also carry Bentonite.
For our fine feathered friends, S-Bar-S has a large selection of bird feeders and several types of bird food to fill those feeders. We also carry peanuts and corn on the cob to keep those entertaining squirrels happy.
